From McCain campaign:
Please see comment from me on Barack Obamas new ad supposedly running in Georgia:Barack Obamas ad is ridiculous. Because of John McCain, corruption was exposed and people like Jack Abramoff went to jail.
However, if Barack Obama wants to have a discussion about truly questionable associations, lets start with his relationship with the unrepentant terrorist William Ayers, at whose home Obamas political career was reportedly launched. Mr. Ayers was a leader of the Weather Underground, a terrorist group responsible for countless bombings against targets including the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon and numerous police stations, courthouses and banks. In recent years, Mr. Ayers has stated, I dont regret setting bombs I feel we didnt do enough.
The question now is, will Barack Obama immediately call on the University of Illinois to release all of the records they are currently withholding to shed further light on Senator Obamas relationship with this unrepentant terrorist?

Maybe not. But FWIW, a few MSM outlets are getting on to the story:
New York Times (Just a blog)
LA Times (Also blog...)
That’s the beauty of it! Obama is damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. He can either fight back, in which case the story gets out there despite a media-wide effort to suppress the details, or he can ignore it, in which case McCain’s camp has free reign to talk about these matters without Obama or the media saying a word to defend Obama. Obama is toast. It all came down to whether or not McCain would play hardball. He is, and as others have said, this is just the first salvo and barely a scratch to the surface of the closet containing all of Obama’s many skeletons. Can’t wait to see what they drag out next.
“If the white-haired dude has been through a Vietnames torture camp, he’s not going to be intimidated by cocktail-party snubs or mere trash talk.”
Moe than anything, its probably the lesson McCain learned from the 2000 campaign againts Bush where he got schooled in SC.
I would worry some, just to be cautious. However, remember, she was literally the smartest woman in the world (SWITW), and got her head handed to he on a platter by a know nothing from Chicago with absolutely nothing but "the rap" as his platform.
The SWITW was a fake, a charlaten, an aging carnival show huckster from Arkansas, that was propped up by the media. Once they deserted her, she was shown to be the useless mouthpiece that she in fact is. I do not think she will easily reclaim the title of SWITW, even with 24/7 media hype.
Does a guy who made more than $4 million last year, just got back from vacation on a private beach in Hawaii and bought his own million-dollar mansion with the help of a convicted felon really want to get into a debate about houses? Does a guy who worries about the price of arugula and thinks regular people cling to guns and religion in the face of economic hardship really want to have a debate about whos in touch with regular Americans? The reality is that Barack Obamas plans to raise taxes and opposition to producing more energy here at home as gas prices skyrocket show hes completely out of touch with the concerns of average Americans.
No worries here... giving the nomination to Hillary now would so poison the Democratic party's relationship with black voters that I think it would destroy the party. Even if it caused just 25% of them to stay home, there is no way any Democrat could win in the general election, and I believe the repercussions would go much further than just this election.
Obama can throw a handful of mud at McCain. McCain has the ability to dump a truck full of mud on Obama’s head. The more Obama tries these petty attacks (class envy? lol) the more McCain’s camp will haul out the real dirt and dump it on him. It’ll be a productive trade-off in favor of McCain.
Soulja boy.
Soldier Boy.
I think we are seeing the same McCain it just we didn’t realize that in his mind he didn’t consider it stabbing anyone in the back. That he was just doing what he felt was the right thing.
Thanks!!
John
