Easy: “I'm warning Mr. Putin, don't you dare impugn my manhood. You have no idea what will happen to you...(uh, er, uh, I'll hold my breath if you don't stop...I told you to stop, wait, stop.... you're going to regret doing this to me... I'm special....).
“You not defend nation we want destroy. Me BEAR. You Eagle. Me bog rocks. You big smile. We spit in your face, you call it dew. We stop exporting Popov Vodka unless you out of Poland. We take poland, all your missiles ours.”
The Dems are watching polling numbers, at this point, to see where they can get an advantage on this issue. If the public is in favor of a more measured response, and diplomacy, they will excoriate Bush for being a cowboy. If, on the other hand, they find that polls are telling them to be more hawkish, than Bush’s current response, they will blast Bush, and seek to gain an advantage. If the polls are split, they will sit on their hands for the time being and wait for Bush to make an unpopular move, and then jump on it. The dems voted for Iraq, due to the fact that they didnt want to be on the wrong side of the repeat of the Iraq war, but once they saw a chance to cut Bush’s throat, politically speaking, they jumped on an anti-war bandwagon, even though the majority of their own party were in favor of the war in the first place. They put party way ahead of what should be done with the russians(I know, captain obvious calling) but they are political mercenaries as of the last couple of decades.
its more than a headline now it links to a story.
The Georgians killed Russians, what did you expect the Russians to do? Sit on their asses?
Only Americans have to do that. Kill our people and the left tells us it is our fault.
Judging from the statements of some of their citizens on the net lately, I think they're just proud "to be somebody" again, even though the only "somebody" they're capable of being is a knuckle-dragging bully.
The dems are already urging restraint on the installation, citing it as still an unproven system. This will end up as a bargaining chip for something. Of course the russians have nothing to offer. Have they blocked access to the space station yet?
Dont think so. If I were Poland and or the Ukraine Id be seeking cover.
_________
I think that would cross a trip line with this administration”
With the US just inking a mutual defense treaty with Poland I think you can count that out. I also think the Ukraine would be too tuff a nut to crack right now. With al-Asaad heading to Moscow now and the Kremlin’s recent comments about giving Syria nukes I think the playing field moves further to the south. Putin will find more friendlies in Syria and Iran than in Eastern Europe and he can further consolidate his energy gains there. The Kremlin is furious about our troops in Iraq and they’re looking to counter our moves there.
Can you imagine such a strong response from an Obama Administration?
Remember this video by Hussein?
Some of their comments are downright rotten and rude, calling all Americans “idiots” and “morons” among other things. WE’re too stupid obviously because we “believe everything out government news agencies are telling us”. lol
Some how, methinks they are confused on whose “government news agencies” are being listen to by whom.....
From what you folks have said, there’s a euphemism that seems to best sum it up: “fellow travelers.”
Russia is linked to some of those terrorists for their own economic gain.
Their claim to power doesn’t come from deed but from fear. They know no other way.
Russia - a drunk with an unlimited appetite.
Didn’t the dems give Putin the memo? The shields not 100% effective so they don’t want to fund it.
But will they vote for a one term senatrix and ex first lady? I am becoming afraid we’ll get the answer to that question. :-( I really would rather McCain run against BHO, not HRC, but I am seeing just so many editorials and articles all but begging the DNC not to officially nominate him that I am beginning to fear a HRC resurrection.
