Nice try Wolfie.
The media picked McCain now they think they can pick the VP. I hope their wrong.
Ridge’s pro-choice views no prob for Wolf. Ping to Today show list.
Rush broadly hinted that he is working behind the scenes to prevent a pro-abort VP.
Also, interestingly, he all but enforced Pawlenty for the post. At least that’s how I took it.
Wolf Blitzer for one apparently doesn't think Tom Ridge's pro-choice position should disqualify him as John McCain's VP pick.
Blitzer is a talking head who reads news from a teleprompter. Remind me why his opinion has any value...
Thanks Wolf. I’m sure you have the best interests of the Republican party in mind. /sarc
Tom “Duct Tape” Ridge is a putz. That should disqualify him.
I think any votes you pick up in PA with Ridge would easily be negated by votes lost in pro-life and libertarian voters.
The last time I saw Blitzer was the election of 2004, and only then because I heard he was continuing to call the election for Kerry long after everyone else had given it to Bush. The man has the face of a ghoul and the mind of a fool.
for a good president or vp, it shouldnt matter if they are pro-life or pro-choice. what should matter is what judges they would appoint. would these judges follow the constitution or make up the laws as they go? judges who interpret the constitution as it was will see that abortion is no where in there which means it should go back to the states.
thats all that really should matter.
Oh, Wolfie. Perhaps Lynn Cheney should come back and open a can of whoop-arse on you again. *chuckle *
Personally, I think a pro-choice/pro-abortion candidate would be a disaster for McCain. True, Reagan took H.W. Bush in 1980, but Bush I adopted a pro-life stance and, more importantly, Reagan had a lot more going for him politically in 1980 than McCain does in 2008.
Just MHO, of course.
Ya, like Wolfie has McCains best intrests at heart.
Why would anyone with more than 2 brain cells give a flying hoot what Blister has to say about anything.
If he ever had any credibility, he lost it all during the first Gulf War, traitor and coward that he is.
...who can cast a tie-breaking vote on legislation in Congress. Nice try, Wolf.
anything that twit thinks is a good idea most assuredly is not in the best interest of America
Ha Ha, Wolf thinks his say-so should matter?? Trying to remember the last time I cared what Wolf Blitzer had to say about ANYTHING, never mind what is an “acceptable” VP nominee for the Republicans..... nope, can’t remember ever caring about what Wolf Blitzer has to say..... since from the first time I ever heard/saw him around the time of Gulf War I it was obvious that he is a biased liberal doofus who imagines that he is vastly intelligent and self-important.
While I wouldn’t pick Tom Ridge, McCain might. One thing is certain so far in this election cycle: McCain’s political instincts have been a lot better than any pundit’s.
DO we care what a liberal Democrat (big media) personality really thinks??
Most Republican/Conservatives- even causuals-NO.
