Judge: Valley mom starved daughter to death, gets lifetime probation Reported by: Trevor Ravenscraft Last Update: 8/13 11:20 am
PHOENIX -- A judge sentenced a west Phoenix woman to lifetime probation Tuesday after she admitted to starving her 2-year-old daughter to death.
Eboni Perri, 26, had earlier pleaded guilty to charges of attempted child abuse.
Her daughter, Nakeisha Walker, was pronounced dead at a Phoenix hospital on March 5th, 2005.
She weighed only 14 pounds at the time.
After Nakeisha's death, police searched Perri's apartment near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road.
Officers found no baby formula, cups, plates or utensils.
They did find a $15,000 life insurance policy Perri took out on her daughter seven days before her death.
Nakeisha was born in March 2003 with neurological problems because of prenatal cocaine and marijuana in her system, according to prosecutors.
Child Protective Services say they went to Perri's home five times after receiving complaints Nakeisha was being neglected.
Wow. Unbelievable.
Lifetime probation? Well, that’ll teach her.
If the mother had been smoking cigarettes, the worthless Child Protection Agency would have taken the little one out of the house in a second.
See Roe V Wade 1973
Had she starved her pet however, she probably would have gotten a tougher sentence.
A LOT of things come to my mind to say, nearly all of which would get me suspended or banned.
And what revokes probation? Well...I guess if she does it again.
Good move, guys <Sarc Why do they never print who the judge was? We vote these guys in don’t we?
I hope they deny her food stamps!
Don’t forget her lawyer, the D.A., with whom the defense made the deal, and of course, the Judge who signed off on the agreement and sentenced according to the plea. Pity they all forgot the baby.

Ya that was one of the things I was looking for was the probation terms...
I found this info from a comment made at the AZ link. Some useful phone numbers. This is SICK!!!
“Thanks concerned101!!...please, everyone call the judge’s office (602-372-3081) and express your dissatisfaction with his sentencing. You can also call the Maricopa County Attorney’s office at 602-506-3411 and ask them what can be done to remove this judge from the bench. I also found these links that might be helpful in taking action: http://www.robeprobe.com/judge_detail.php?judge_id=2333 (you have to register, but it’s free and you can give an opinion/rate judge Ryan here) http://www.azgovernor.gov/Contact.asp (contact the governer that appointed Ryan to the bench) http://www.foxnews.com/oreilly/contact-us/index.html http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form11b.html?2 http://www.oprah.com/contactus Whatever it takes...if we bombard them with phone calls and emails, they’re bound to address it. “
Why do we even have this worthless dept.? Seems to me they should have taken the child after the 1st incident.
PATHETIC!
