Carl, praying for your recovery.
T.
A wonderful man.
God bless, you, Yaz. Get better fast.
You and me both.
Prayers up for one of the greats!
What kid in New England didn’t try that weird batting stance in Little League before your coach told you to knock it off.
For those of you old enough to remember 67’

Same here. Some of my fondest memories are of my Grandad taking me to Fenway Park as a kid.
Me too, until I got to play catch with Carlton Fisk.
Long live the "Cardiac Kids"!
Prayers for Yaz bump. Fond memories of him chasing number 3,000.
When ever I mention Yaz, my wife always says, “WHo???”
She is from Philly, what do you expect!
Whenever he pulled on the uniform you knew you were going to see an athlete give 100%.
I was actually really bummed as a kid when I saw him smoking in the dugout.
Here a video of Yaz’s 1967 heroics. Sorry about the moonbat elitist that narrate this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGhcavwAzaE
He was my sports hero growing up.
My prayers go out for his quick and full recovery.
I once read an article about Yaz’s enjoyment of fishing. Ted Williams invited him to go fishing with him. Yaz showed up with a cooler of beer. Williams asked him what was in the cooler. Yaz had some beer in there. Williams told him he can’t bring that on his boat. Yaz grabbed his cooler and left. I can imagine if Yaz lit up, Williams would of thrown him overboard.
Many folks don’t know that Yaz is an eastern Long Islander - born in Southampton .
"Ask your freepers if anyone remembers "YAZ" bread, that is the only thing I would my PPJ with!"
Sadly "YAZ" bread is long gone, and I don't think Carl has a piece of the contraceptive that bears his name.
Yaz was quite a player and a great sportsman. Here's hoping he has many years more.
