I didn’t see it that way.

I saw a person being asked his personal beliefs as to “when does life begin”, and when he demurred with “above my paygrade”, he either.....

1 doesn’t know, or
2 is too afraid to answer

Assuming he meant #1, then he doesn’t know himself.

A person who doesn’t know himself is ill-qualified to lead others.

I saw a person being asked his personal beliefs as to “when does life begin”,

But he wasn't asked when life begins.

He was asked "At what point does a baby get human rights?" And he said he was incapable of addressing it. And this guy wants to be president.

If he is either #1 or #2 he is not qualified to be the President.

When you have core principles that are not abhorrent to the public in general, you can bounce all questions off those core principles and answer.

You have to go an additional step and obfuscate when you know your core values are rejected by most decent people.
