Still 51-49. The crotch sniffers over at dirty underpants must have gotten there first.

I responded with a “NO”, but I’m really more of a WWBD (what would Buddha do) kind of guy

I just got this from my sister.

This online poll is based on an article about atheist Michael Newdow filling a federal suit to remove the motto from the currency. The article was last updated in November, 2005, and the poll has apparently been running all this time. There are well over 1 1/4 million votes cast, and there is no way we FReepers are going to effect it now. Not a lot of point either.

It is a complete myth that the Constitution says anything about the seperation of Church and State. It simply states that the Government cannot create a State Religion. But if you ask Libs it is okay to follow Muslim ideas in schools etc.

Yep, I’m not a US citizen, so I have no axe to grind with this. Anyway, sometimes people looking in from the outside get a better view.
.
So, the question stands. Does the USA, as a nation, still actually “trust God”? If not, then the phrase should indeed be removed from the coinage.

How would one determine that? Do we let one robed judge decide for us? An online poll is pointless.

Removing it would be like saying the Magna Carta was outdated and all of its precepts should be ignored from now on.
