Someone who sins, sexually or otherwise, can still choose to not sin the next time. Murder takes away ALL choices from the victim, and limits those for the murderer.
Then you said...
Neither you nor I get to judge them. Hey, it that a beam in your eye?
Do you not recognize that your posts contradict each other? Also, do you not judge one sin (murder) as a "bigger" sin than another (homosexuality)? Who has the speck and who has the plank?
Have ever read the book of James chapter 2?
8If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing right.
9But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.
10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.
11For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.
12Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom,
13because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!
Study well and I'll tell you about how one day we will judge the Angels (if you believe what Jesus said...).
No, I don't recognize that. I was asking a question, not stating an answer to that question. However, you did answer my question.
“10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.”
That, as I read it, says they are equal in the Lord's eyes. Is that how you read it? If so, I have my answer.
