The Times is getting even more disgusting than usual. I expect by the beginning of November they will be reporting that he [self censored before the mod gets to it].

ORLANDO, Fla. — Senator John McCain was not in a “cone of silence” on Saturday night while his rival, Senator Barack Obama, was being interviewed at the Saddleback Church in California.
Members of the McCain campaign staff, who flew here Sunday from California, said Mr. McCain was in his motorcade on the way to the church as Mr. Obama was being interviewed by the Rev. Rick Warren, the author of the best-selling book “The Purpose Driven Life.”
The matter is of interest because Mr. McCain, who followed Mr. Obama’s hourlong appearance in the forum, was asked virtually the same questions as Mr. Obama. Mr. McCain’s performance was well received, raising speculation among some viewers, especially supporters of Mr. Obama, that he was not as isolated during the Obama interview as Mr. Warren implied.
Nicolle Wallace, a spokeswoman for Mr. McCain, said on Sunday night that Mr. McCain had not heard the broadcast of the event while in his motorcade and heard none of the questions.
“The insinuation from the Obama campaign that John McCain, a former prisoner of war, cheated is outrageous,” Ms. Wallace said...[excerpt]

Typical RAT tactic. The messiah lost, so they claim McCain cheated. After all, RATS always cheat, so they always accuse Republicans of cheating, because they can’t imagine playing fair. This is like their “two stolen elections”, or their sneers about the “swift boat liars”. They know they always lie and cheat, so they always accuse their opponents of cheating and lying. Just like the USSR always did.

It did not appear that McCain knew the questions in advance. His answers seemed authentic and unrehearsed.
They just can’t admit that McCain kicked Obama’s rear-end but good Saturday night.

They’ll keep telling themselves that McCain only did well because he cheated... until the first face to face debates. The only thing I’m worried about is how one sided a PBS-let debate will be, but I think Mac will handle himself well.
So McCain & Warren plotted? What was the plan if McCain had lost the coin toss and had to go first? Oh, the COIN TOSS was RIGGED, too!!!!!!!
If you read the politico report, McCain had tried to insist they go on at the same time to prevent these accusations. Chalk this up to the naiveness of a Pastor not to trust McCain knew what he was talking about.
Why don’t they just yell “Our guy did ROTTEN, so YOU must have cheated!”

The NYT is getting the meme out that McCain "cheated", without actually saying so. They'll rely on the rest of the MSM to take it from there, using this original NYT report as the source. As transparent as it is pathetic.
McCain did lose the coin toss.
