So much for hugging in church.
A day after Barack Obama and John McCain exchanged an embrace during a faith forum at a California megachurch, Obama called the U.S. economy a disaster thanks to "John McCain's president, George W. Bush," and chided his Republican rival's campaign team for trying to make him look unpatriotic and weak.

An absolutely disgraceful thing to say.
Obama has absolutely no business seeking this office.
Just what we need in a President.
Well, maybe Putin, Ahmadinijad and Osama will give him a "time out" when he needs one...
If the unpatriotic & weak shoe fits, put it on, Cinderella Hussein.
What I really would like to know, is that if he (BHO) becomes President, will we be allowed to pronounce his name?
Well it sounds traitorous to me, Even IF Obama is elected I will consider him My President! That was one of the most stupid comments I ever heard from someone that wants to lead this country.
What is more amazing, is this is the best the Democrats have to offer.
The first rule of politics the candidate that changes tactics is losing.
Obmaa changed from his “We can all just get along if you worship me!” plan, becuase he was 23 points behind with independents.
Initiially the media was surveying 27 percent Repubilcnas, 34 percent Democrats and 39 percent independents. That is until McCain started to take a huge lead among independents. Then the pollsters changed the perctages to 39 percent Democrats, 30 percent Independents and 32 percent Republicans.
And the pollsters still can’t get Obama a lead.
The point is independents choose candidates on two factors. Likability and ‘What will the candidate do for me?”
Obama is losing the likability. Research for years has shown that independents vote for what they see as a nice guy or gal. Independents tend to go for a person they would invite over for coffee or to have a beer. That is not Obama. He does not appeal to indpendents on his personality.
The other factor is what the candidate will do for the independent voters. But Obama is all about those that will follow Obama to the promised land. Independents don’t vote that way.
So Obama has a huge problem with independents and white working class members of his own party.
So he tries another tact. He is now trying to drive McCain down with attacks. But that does not work. The independents LIKE MCCAIN. When Obama attacks McCain the independents who like him, defend him.
It is a strategy that almost never works.
The second rule of Politics is never attack a candidate the voters like.
I would bet the internal Democrat polls look terrible for Obama. He is now playing a big gambling offense and defense.
Candidates who are wining never gamble. Those that are losing are reduced to gambling for support. It almost never works.
The most important thing to remember is the candidate who is winning never needs to change positions or tactics.
McCain stopped changing well over a month ago. Obama has been changing nearly every day. It is hard times at the Obama camp. Things aren’t working out the way they hoped.
I think the Obama team is starting to see this slip away from them. They have a candidate with zero experience in a race of this magnitude, and he is making some big mistakes. He is panicking and they are panicking.
I still think we are looking at a very close election, but McCain has a better than 50/50 shot at pulling it out IMHO.
Hard to make him look any weaker than he is. As to “unpatriotic”, I haven’t seen McCain’s camp do a single thing to suggest Obama isn’t patriotic. In fact, McCain has gone out of his way to try to build up Obama on the issue of “patriotism”.
But it’s no wonder Obama thinks everything makes him look unpatriotic — it’s probably how he feels.
“Play the video of B. Hussein calling President Bush, “John McCain’s President, George W. bush” followed by the announcer saying:
“Tell us, Mr. Obama, who is your President?”
Brilliant idea for an ad!!! Ready-made.
TRYING to make him look weak? Please Obombo you had your chance to make whatever Mcain says moot and as your wise wife would say, Barry you Blew that one !
I would bet the internal Democrat polls look terrible for Obama. Is he desperate enough to gamble on picking Hillary as his VP?He is now playing a big gambling offense and defense.
Despite what the media says, Hillary would not be a asset to Obama.
What Hillary managed to garner was the Anti Obama vote. The Hillary victory in Ohio, Texas, Pennsylvania, West VA, Kentucky, California, New York, South Dakota, Mass, and a few other states were ANTI OBAMA votes at least as much as they were PRO Hillary votes.
Obama will not pick Hillary. He will pick some one who can help him win in VA or Indiana. That choice is I think 50-50.
Hillary would just cost him votes among independents. He ill not pick her. IF he did I doubt that she would take it.
She wants Obama defeated so she can run in 2012. That would be hard to cause if she were on the ticket.
In 2012 the Democrats will be begging each other to not listen to the media. Their choices only result in massive defeats.
Hillary’s object is for the next four years that everyone in the Democratic party believes that if they had not listened to the media Hillary would be president and they would have all three branches of government in their control.
So, since McCain is doing fairly well, should he "play it safe" and pick Romney, or go for the non-traditional -- like Sarah Palin? (Or Lieberman?)
