My Daughter was born in Hawaii in 1982. When sends away to Honolulu, for a “copy” of her birth certificate, they don't send a “copy”, they just send a sheet that says they verify they have one on file.

Before we go too far down this road, lets make sure of what we are talking about. Does it pro-port to be an actual copy of the birth certificate, or just a verification that they have the copy on file. I don't really know, thats why the cautionary note.

His campaign, and the Daily Cos, both posted a proven, fake, “CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH”, not the actual birth certificate on file with the State of Hawaii.

This is a major problem.

FINALLY! SOMEONE GOT A LETTER OF VERIFICATION.

You got it because you did not send the correct form to Vital Records.

You absolutely will get a COLB from Hawaii, provided that you or your daughter fill in every line on the order form.

There's an order form online that you can fill out. Click here Let me know when you get it. Thanks in advance.

Obviously, it's the latter. His actual birth certificate probably contains a good deal more information and was produced with the technology then available. For instance, mine includes the doctor's signature and ages and occupations of my parents. The address of the Office of Vital Records contains a zone number instead of a zipcode. And, remember, they didn't have laser printers in 1961.
