A recent lawsuit filed by radio host and author Michael Savage against Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is one of the latest acts of racism against Muslims in the United States.
Savage, who is often criticized for his fascist and racist opinions, sued Washington-based CAIR for copyright infringement, saying the council had rebroadcast over four minutes from his radio show The Savage Nation on their website as an example of the bigotry and hatred against Muslims in the US.
The excerpts had placed the San Francisco-based host's hateful comments against Islam, Muslims and their holy book, Qur'an, on their website. Savage had also linked CAIR to terrorist organizations.
A federal district court in California dismissed Savage's suit in July, maintaining that the use of limited portions of the material for commentary and criticism falls within copyright law's fair use exception.
Savage's lawsuit against CAIR was dismissed in July. However, the incident has indicated that there is a good deal of effort in US media to somehow make a connection between Islam and terrorism.

wtf is wrong with you people. you might not like savage but you should at least support him for going after CAIR,do you not see them as the enemy? what other talk show host or group is fighting CAIR. I guess you will enjoy your dhimmitude.

I don’t find Michael Savage to be very credible. I think he has psychological problems, and he puts conservatism in a bad light.
btw is Levin, Id F.LEE Levin said anything about this? does he plan on taking on CAIR too, I know had said a few things about them in the past.
Hate to agree since I don’t particularly care for Savage’s style of broadcast but you are correct.
you just perfer subversive groups like CAIR to operate un molested then. good job.
Savage dropped the suit because it was entirely lacking in merit and not self-respecting lawyer who wanted to continue practicing law would push a case that had no foundation in fact or law.
