I thank you all! I am touched by the kindnesses shown to me.
I have Ovarian Cancer, stage 3 with luck and go to surgery Monday.
I wish all of you with wives and daughters, and ladies, would go to the Johns Hopkins Oncology Gyn website and review the symptoms.
It is usually in late stages when diagnosed because of the vague symptoms which I wrote off because I thought I was just getting old.
And ladies, insist your gyn do ovarian ultrasound every year. There is no reason for us to be dying of this disease.
I will keep you all in mind and if anyone has been thru this, I would appreciate a note.
Thank you again!! Pat

Again, my prayers are with you,
MOgirl
Good luck, cajungirl! I will be joining the many FReepers who are praying for you to be healed.
Best of life and luck to you.
God bless, protect, and heal you with His mighty hand.
Prayers up!
From one survivor to another, the best advice I can give you is after the surgery you must accept that you are "healed" and that's the way it is..Oh sure, you'll have follow up treatments, but the secret is to accept God's word that you need only ASK and BELIEVE that you are healed, and it shall be done! Yes, and the Doctors and modern medicine are all part of God's healing plan for you..:)
Hurry back..with love, spectre's wife
I will keep you in my prayers.

You’re in my thoughts and prayers, Cajungirl.
Cajungirl,
I am an ovarian cancer survivor. I am, as of July, at 5 years. I was at stage 3 when they found it. My friend had stage 4 ovarian cancer 12 years ago..... and we have lunch plans next Tuesday. Be of good cheer... this is beatable.
Freepmail follows.
We’ve had our differences sometimes here. You stood up to me...that’s how I know you have guts.
In a fight between you and this cancer, my money is on you. I don’t think the cancer has a chance. You’re too much for it.
Get well soon.
May Our Almighty Father guide your surgeons and ensure a safe and fully successful operation, and a complete and uncomplicated recovery. I ask this in Jesus’ Holy Name, Amen. (Get well soon!)
I will go the Johns Hopkins Oncology Gyn Website and will forward it to all the women in my family and to my female friends. Thank you for providing this valuable website .
Just sent a prayer for healing and peace for you and your loved ones.
