Negative.

Its sort of like saying, “look Jasper, this is the job we hired you to do”

If you are truly a conservative, you do not vote for McCain.

None of this “if you vote third-party you vote for Obama” crap. Time for people to grow up. Anyone who keeps stating such garbage as I quoted....is dumb as dirt....lacks a three-digit IQ...and will surely help elect a liberal to the White House.

A vote for McCain is a vote for a liberal

Nobody is doubting his bravery...

McCain had guts to spare...

Personally I’m concerned about the illegal alien lovin’ that has gomne on to the detrement of millions of Americans...

“Code of Conduct says, “You will not accept parole or amnesty,” “

Has the “amnesty” bit in the CofC been twisted in McCains mind to push AMNESTY of 30,000,000 illlegal aliens because of what he suffered himself ???

That is scary...

Otherwise why has he fought so hard for criminals to overrun our country and then go free ?????

Its sort of like saying, “look Jasper, this is the job we hired you to do”

Except that "Jasper" doesn't have any accountability to us. After he's elected, it's not like we can just fire him for poor job performance. If he's even alive in four years, which given his age is an iffy proposition at best, we'll just have another election in 2012 where it's him (or his mushy, moderate-liberal former Veep) running against some hard-left nutcase from the Dimocrats, and we'll have the same old "vote for McCain or you're voting for __fill in the blank__ all over again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I'm almost to the point where I'm thinking that four years under Obama might be just what the GOP needs to wake up. Those idiots were in control of Congress from 1994-2006, having a GOP President for half of that time, and did absolutely nothing with it. That is not just because they are wimps, but because a critical mass of them were actual, out-and-out traitors to the conservative cause, if they were ever in it in the first place. Maybe we need four years of seeing what liberalism is really like to get people focused again. That's why the GOP got control of Congress in 1994 in the first place - people WANTED ideological conservativism. People WANTED Republicans who were going to go in there, cut taxes, stand firm on social issues, reduce government, and increase freedom. The GOP didn't deliver, and is where it is at now. The problem is not too much conservatism in the GOP, but not enough.

I'm seriously considering it, yes. See #65. The GOP needs a massive wakeup call NOW.

They dont even know how badly Kerry and Carter messed this country up.

Malaise indeed. Acceptance of the notion(thats a obamaism) that The USA sucks, that we are at fault.

Screw that. When Reagan came into office he brought determination to the office. He turned up the thermostat, ripped off the solar panels on the whitehouse and called Iran.

The hostages were home the next week.

McCain is no Reagan but I will side with McCain for patriotism.

Your a dope.

You have more sway with a moderate in the executive office than with a socialist

Hate to break this to you, but while Reagan was good (in fact, probably the best we've had since Calvin Coolidge), a mortal trembling fear of him was not why the Iranians released the hostages. The Iranians were using the hostage crisis to encourage a "regime change" in the USA, though it ended up backfiring on them since the "regime" in power had even less affinity for them than Carter did.

Let’s face it...

If McCain wasnt influenced by the jamming of the Senate switchboard last year over the AMNESTY Bill...

And instead thumbed his nose at us and laughed and hugged his buddy, Teddy, once more...

He is DEFINITELY NOT going to care what we think once he is POTUS...

"I fell for that crap once and voted Perot"

I too voted for Perot. However, I do not regret my choice. The way I look at it.....when 9/11 hit, we had the right man in the right job at the right time. If you "alter" history, we may not have had Bush on 9/11.

I've already chewed on it, that's why I think the way I do. Moderate - socialist - really makes not difference. One takes you down the road on a horse and buggy, while the other does it in a Porsche. Still the same road, however. I want somebody will grab the reins and do a U-turn.

BTW, I am planning on voting for McCain - at present - though with a clothespin on my nose. If he picks a pro-choice VP, that will change, irrevocably.

I'm sure the polling place staffers will be glad to hold your purse for you while you vote for McCain.

The hostages were released at 12 Noon Jan 20, 1981, just as Reagan was sworn in...

We knew they would be released then...

There was no “regime change”

Reagan had not said anything yet as the new POTUS..
