Not this one.
He’s solid and this attempted smear by the Slimes is proof.
Still ? Some ? He’s a slimy liberal with a record of destruction, period. A perfect running mate for Obama.
What we need and what Romney provides par excellence is a super attack dog. Articulate, well spoken, not afraid to go on the offensive, clear thinking, and his eye on the ball. He brings that, play in several states, and a ready-made base of grassroots support. There are many options for VP - I consider Romney an attractive one.
Hey, Huck... are you sure you aren't talkin' about McCain?
A Mormon on the ticket guarantees a President Obama. It is campaign suicide. Do I like it? Not at all. But it is reality.
So would a Scientologist.
Or a Moonie.
I used to think the media was liberal because though they tried to be impartial overwhelmingly liberal journalist couldn't hide their true beliefs when they reported. I'm not convinced a large segment of them consciously try to promote their cause. Unreal.
I’d love to see Mitt debate John f’n Kerry.
You're always stinking up Jim's house.
If I’ve accepted voting for McCain, I’ve already factored in the “not conservative” thing.
I’m looking for the guy who won’t throw away what we’ve achieved in Iraq. I’m looking for someone who is likely to be an adult in other crises that blow up along the way. Thats McCain, like it or not, and whoever he picks is fine as long as they would likewise stand their ground in Iraq and likewise not panic when things are going topsy.
Romney would be fine. Some of the other choices out there are a bit green by comparison, though they would bring some youth to the ticket which would help in getting him elected. I’m referring to Palin.
I like Cantor. He might be the best choice all around.
But Romney spells competent and he’s not a guy who will panic, so he’ll do if he’s it.
Well folks -
I’d just LOVE to spend more time here with ANOTHER “Romney’s a liberal - No, he’s not” thread for a few hours where no one changes their mind, but I’m moving on.
Have fun.
;)
Once again the left tells us exactly what we should do...
Mitt is a nice addition to the ticket.
Could someone please tell Huckleberry to stuff a sock in it. He was much more likable as a rock star.
Eric Cantor or Fred Thompson for VP.
First and foremost, the GOP VP nominee needs to be someone who can unite the party. That rules out any of the contentious presidential primary candidates (including Romney and also my favorite, Thompson).
Fresh, proven, conservative blood with potential to unite the party: Sanford, Cantor, Coburn, DeMint (to name a few).
