Solidarity with Georgia concert in Warsaw
14.08.2008
A concert is to be held in Warsaw evening today to show Solidarity with Georgia.
The concert will take place by the Warsaw Rising Museum, which is co-organising the concert with Polands public television broadcaster, TVP. A few renowned Polish bands are to perform, including Perfect and Pogodno.
The concert is to be performed in the place where Polish and Georgian Presidents, Lech Kaczyński and Micheil Saakashvilli, paid homage in May 2007 to the Georgian contract officers who fought in the Polish Army, and who were killed at Katyn, the Warsaw Rising and on all fronts of the Second World War.
Perfect!
The Poles are great!
The Poles rock my world.
Anyway, how can I get one of those tshirts?
Poland and Georgia...GOOD! Russia...pure EVIL! With that comment out of the way I can say that the young woman in the third photo is one of the loveliest I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.
Unfortunately - I have no idea.
I think those have been prepared for “the Perfect” exclusively.

Several pages of T-shirts etc in support for Georgia.
Mixed in these pages is also the U.S. state of Georgia
Just out of curiosity... does anyone know how the Polish people feel about The US and Americans generally? Thinking about taking a vacation there in the next few years.
Thanks!
Perfect is a great Polish band.
Was Lady Pank there?
I don’t think you’ll find in Europe a country, where people would be more pro-American than the Poles.
No - as far as I know.
Great video — don’t understand a word, but you can’t help but get the message.
Many Thanks!
