Hey Nauti, this from Orlando. This looks too much like Charlie (2004)

Was beginning to think we were going to get all the storms this year.

The thing about WU, just like FR, is that everyone has an opinion and if people disagree with someone then they might accuse them of wish-casting.
What you can count on there though, is that those people are fascinated by storms and that the ocean doesn't do squat without them knowing about it first. They are there for the birth of the wave:')

I hope we are done. Paid the flood insurance today anyway...just in case.

They’ve gone on both sides, so I figure the next one that heads this way will have our name on it.
Contrary to the norm, we actually got more rain from the one that went north.

No correction needed. I checked the NHC website. There was nothing there to indicate your posting as correct. Guess you have inside info that is ahead of their website updates.Oh! Ye noob of little faith. I haven't spent all these years posting hurricane threads for amusement. Alas and alack, you haven't been around here to know better. 'Tis a pity.

Here in Biloxi,
We ain't scared of no freekin' tropical storm. Not a heck of alot to be wiped out anyway. ;)
Hurricane camille was a lady, katrina was a bi**h.
Fay is nothing.

Storms with “F” and “G” names give me the creeps. I’ve met too many of them face-to-face.

Don’t count Fay out yet. She’s been keeping everybody guessing for weeks now. Chock full of surprises.

Aw, *CRUD*. Prayers up, please.
My son is with the Boy Scouts scuba diving in the Florida Keys. He's due to leave next Wednesday.
Cheers!

Tourists are a top priority for evacuation in the Keys—if watches/warnings indicate necessity.

I don’t suppose this model has factored in the customary jog east that occurs with GOM storms.
