Both, I guess. Do legal hispanics turn down public assistance? Do they all vote conservative?
I am sure that legal Hispanics, whites and African Americans all accept public assistance and some among each group vote conservative.
I am sure they do, too. I am just tired of people claiming how conservative and wonderful mexicans are. It's just crock of baloney.
I was speaking of immigrants from south of the border in general. They come from socialism. They see it as the norm. Some of them know why they want to get the heck out of Dodge. This does not seem to be the majority, especially since most of our immigrants (legal and illegal) are from the poorer classes. It might be a different scenario if we had no welfare system at all and it was sink or swim. But that’s simply not the case.

The question is not do some vote conservative, but in what proportions can they be expected to support small government and conservative ideas? Show me anything that suggests that they do in large numbers.

I may be the only one, but I have no clue how what you’re talking about has anything to do with what I said. But, I’ll concede just to save writing back to you.
Sounds a lot to me that you have a strong dislike for anyone who’s not lily white.
By the way, could you compare the term "lily white" to, say, "just white" or "kinda white" or...well, you get the idea - and let us know on some basis - like chromatically - what the difference is?
We're all just dying to know.
