AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

That’s expensive. I remember living at home and my dad ordered heating oil...and he used to complain about it back then....and we got a wood stove. Living in FL eliminates a heating bill....I remember paying $385 basic budget just for heat 10 years ago up north! Too much.

Hey Roccus. Damn, those heat bills sure do cut down on the play money.

I’m on a winterguard plan for natural gas. 85.00 a month year around with gas water heater. Too bad this next April it comes up for renewal, I’m sure it’ll go up.

btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I can’t complain, my neighbors use much more oil than we do. I’m trying to convince hubby to buy a pellet stove. We have 2 fireplaces (1 upstairs & 1 downstairs) so it would be easy to install. So far no luck...he wants no part of it.

About 400gals plus the wood lasts me the year. The wood is a pain, but it’s a better heat even though it is also FA. Even if the blower is off, the heat still comes up through the registers so I don’t get that initial blast of cold air like I do with the propane. Hot water and cooking are on propane. I swear that if I ever hit the lottery (I never play) I’ll install steam heat!!!!!

One load from this fellow is about half again more than a face cord so I’m still well ahead of out by you. (slow to post...had to look up cord measurement)

That's excellent, Roccus! A great friend of mine has just moved up here from Texas, and I just remembered that he actually thinks cutting wood is fun. Maybe I need to start making that man some fried chicken, mashed potatos and gravy, and chocolate cheesecake.

My aunt has a pellet stove and LOVES it. They really warm the place up...toasty and cozy warm. If I ever lived in the cold again, I would definetly get one. A big saver on money too!!!

How about geothermal? You’re in the right part of the country. Since I’m in NW NJ I think it gets too cold here to try it.

Hiya Alice! Sent Clint Jr to college yesterday for the first time. Mrs Sucks went with him, she called it “the trail of tears.” I have to admit it got me too.
