Democrats taking potshots at Cantor as possible VP (Jack Abramoff named a sandwich after Cantor)

"Jack Abramoff liked Eric Cantor so much that he named a tuna-based stacker sandwich after him," said Jared Leopold, spokesman for the Democratic Party of Virginia. "Now Cantor wants to have his sandwich and eat it, too. He wants to do favors for lobbyists, but deny responsibility."

Rob Collins, Cantor's chief of staff, said the Democrats have misfired. In a 2000 GOP primary, Abramoff bankrolled a group that attacked Cantor.
