Piece of Mind?: Week 31 - Westminster, MD 8-9-08

Perfect weather for a FReep/Rally in Westminster! Lurker Bill came from Olney to join us. There were only 3 moonbats. One of them was holding the flag that we despise so much. The USA Flag desecrated with the peace symbol. A guy driving by conveyed his displeasure to them a couple times. He told them that they were defacing the USA Flag and should go home. The 2nd time, I heard the moonbat say that the guy had already driven by and said the same thing. OK, well he gave them a piece of his mind and spoke the truth both times! A passenger gave us a tiny piece of his mind, in a rude manner. He said F*** God a couple of times. It just so happened that a group of adults and children on both sides of the street were handing out free bottled water. Attached to the bottles were pamphlets titled “LOST”. I told the man it was very nice what they were doing but curious as to why. That was when he showed me the bottles and said the water was for cleansing and the pamphlet to spread the word of God. The angry man in the car apparently could have used a bottle!

A young woman approached Anomoly99 and told him that she had someone that she deeply cared for in Iraq. She had a hard time not crying as she thought of her friend. She had taken our picture from across the street. She told Anomoly99 that she would send the pictures to her friend and tell him about us counterprotesting the moonbats. Anomoly99 told her to thank her friend on behalf of us. The young woman went across the street to talk to the moonbats. She took a picture of them and opened up her laptop, probably showing her friend to them. Not much more activity other than the usual stream of beeps, waves and thumbs up.

2ND AND LAST SATURDAY 1-3pm
Please join us if you can. We especially need extra boots on the corner, on the 2nd and last Saturday of each month, when we counter protest the moonbats. The Westminster Gathering/FReep is located on the east side of E. Main Street opposite the library at 50 East Main Street. There is public parking on Winters Street. Follow the signs.

I used to live in Mt. Airy. I loved Westminster and dated several maidens from there in my youth.

Thanks for standing up to the flag desecraters! Hey, I know. Photoshop a map with a peace sign shaped island in place of Cuba and tell them all the groovy people are going there.

D.C. Chapter Master Ping List Westminster was once again a great success. Looks like the moonbats have lost their ~~back~~ limp bone once again. RockerMom and crew missed one week and the moonbats came back in full force, probably thinking we had given up. Well, 2 Saturday's of FReeps and the moonbats have once again "cut 'n run", down to 3.
