I really pray for a boring non-event, particularly because one of my kids is on DPD. The cops are very much on the alert and I think Denver is really braced for it. I think that the Democrats are glad to see it. They can play to the middle even though they believe the same nut theories.
The hard left is angry with Pelosi and Obama because they talk to the middle rather than standing proudly on the Left and saying “THIS is how it is going to be”.
They are too impatient for incremental change. They’ve wanted the revolution for 80+ years.
