CALL AND EMAIL FOLKS! My email to the little worm Chambliss.

I heard spineless speech on Rush’s show. Ive been a Republican but may vote Democrat this fall . Not because they are better but due of idiots like Chambliss. Ive informed the RNC, RSNC and Senator E. Dole. In addition Ive been in contact with Sen. McConnell regarding your complete lack of knowledge and understanding of the American people and the energy industry.

You have proven yourself to be nothing more than a good laugh.

Does this mean that you contacted Senator Mitch McConnell, creator and implementor par excellence of the mitchslap*, to inform him of the cluelessness of Saxby Chambliss?

If so, Woo Hoo!

*credit to Red State for creating the term

The President can make them sit there, but only the Party leaders can call the Session to order.

Who do you the American people, who are paying $4.00 for gasoline/$4.50+ for diesel, will be Pi$$ed at if Party Leaders do not call the session to order? Rats want to dig a deeper hole for themselves (November fast approaching), let them.

Look, apart from the stupid concessions by the gang of 10, the Republican House has this well in hand. If they have the President act too soon, this undercuts their hard work as it would be the President solving their problem.

When they are ready for him to do so, he will do it, but they need to take this where it has to go. They may need to appear to bludgeon the President for him to appear reluctant to call the Congress back, which he would do gladly.

What we need - term limits, and a viable 3rd party.

I actually think what would be more effective than term limits is if ALL CONGRESSMEN were up for re-election every two years. ALL of them!

The house Republicans can NOT call congress back into session, but Prince George can. The movement needs momentum, nation wide momentum NOW, we don't have that. Prince George could have supplied that by forcing the MSM to cover the issue that the vast majority of people favor. Pelosi will probably ride this out when she and the Rats could have been defeated quickly and soundly. A great opportunity is in the process of being squandered....again!

Sorry....I like this being drawn out. Also wondering if the 5 Senators had a different reason for making the move that they made. Holding fire for now while FULLY supporting what the House Republicans are doing. This opportunity will only be squandered if WE stop making noise.

I hope like hell you are right, this is too great of an issue and effort to have fail or be compromised on to the point of being useless.

If Blue Dog Democrats are still following the Pelosie line after this weekend then Houston we have a problem.

We all better become aggressive Keyboard Warriors spreading our angst to anyone who has Email service.

I wonder if Russia is aware that their drilling may upset some citizens?

The problem that we have, The Cajun, is that up until now, President Bush has been the only grown up standing. Now that House Republicans are running with this issue, it’s important that they get the credit for it.

Unknown factors - falling oil prices and the gang of 10.

But this is a winning issue and the House Republicans know it.

Ive been a Republican but may vote Democrat this fall .

Not sure how this is going to help the problem either since in the House, the Dems left, and in the Senate, the Dems are trying to get a "comprehensive compromise". Voting MORE of them in seems completely counter-productive.

I think that the lunkheads in the Senate did not speak to the other R Senators and that they did not know that the House would run with this issue.

I also understood (perhaps incorrectly) that this revolt of House Republicans was a spontaneous act. I recall reading on the first day that Mike Pence was asked about it and he said that he didn’t know what was next and it was not planned previously.

Tis my understanding too. The "Gang" was doing this little deal BEFORE the ROVOLT started. Hoping the reaction from the masses will cause the 5 Republican Senators to take another look at things.
