What happened to the President’s right elbow? Did he fall off a bike?

Sitting with? I see Bill Gates, Mitt Romney, a woman who might be his sister, his dad, a cranky overdressed Laura, a slightly more relaxed Barbara.

Gotta love the moxy of Laura Berg. The rosin hand print is her trademark prank.

There was a lot written yesterday about Misty May trying to get the president to smack her on the butt. Instead, he kind of gave her a backhand to the lower back.

I noticed too that in the first few minutes of NBC’s Olympic coverage they were quite complimentary to our President.

Showing athletes making positive comments about meeting the President and showing the first President Bush in a good light in that he was very early on knowing that China was going to be important on the world state.

Great pictures. He looks relaxed and is obviously enjoying himself. I’m sure the athletes welcome his support and presence during their events. The one of him leaning against the backboard with the female US softball player is my favorite. He looks in his element.

I watched the interview with my family that he did with Bob Costas...

When it was over, my not so liberal anymore wife and extremely liberal stepdaughter said, “wow. he was impressive. I thought he was supposed to be stupid.”

I looked at them both and said, “I have been telling you for years that this has been a coordinated media campaign to lie about this fine president.”

They agreed and felt that the way the media has lied about him is disgraceful. Better in the last few months of his 8 years than never. But they were completely shocked.

Sad.

Like him or not, President Bush is a real guy- what you see is what you get.
