The one thing I don’t understand is these groups also insist that US police forces are not allowed to ask criminals their nationality when picked up. How are the police supposed to know that someone is an illegal alien unless the suspect speaks up? This piece of s... was in America for 15 years and spoke decent English, how were the police supposed to know to contact the consulate?

Just out of curiosity what would have happened if the SC had ruled against Texas and Texas showed some balls and told them the IC has no jurisdiction over Texas and to take its ruling and shove it and executed the son of a bitch anyway?

Then maybe international law needs to be changed, but that doesn’t occur to liberals.

The execution of José Ernesto Medellín Rojas by the state of Texas is a violation of international law, said Amnesty International today. Ok, so let AI sue the state of Texas in the globalist International Court of "Justice" and see where that gets them. One thing that AI can be dead certain of, their effete international court can't bring that murdering, raping, torturing, illegal immigrant back from hell where he's now waiting for his compadres in crime to join him.
Gen 9:6 "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man." AI and the International Court of Justice don't believe in capital punishment, but God does and that tells me that death is the proper penalty for murder.

Amnesty International can stick it where the moon don't shine. There is
nothing objective about that agenda-driven organization.

It undermines the authority of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) which had ruled in favour of a stay of execution.
And exactly what constitutional authority does the ICJ have?

I don’t see it as a victory as there was no fight to begin with. The international court has no jurisdiction over Texas or any other state and never has. It would be as if I were to form my own little personal court and issued proclamations against various states’ cases.
