BTW: I HOPE EVERYONE GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO WATCH PRESIDENT BUSH’S INTERVIEW WITH BOB COSTAS JUST NOW (given that it was part of NBC’s primetime Olympic coverage, the interview gave the President his largest worldwide audience in years — unfiltered no less!!!).

Everything you said is right. Though I’m not a Christian, it is heartening to me to see this President stand up for beleaguered Christians world-wide.
You are right, that was a GREAT interview! And for once, he got actual questions instead of “gotchas.” I thought Costas did a great job and was both intelligent and respectful.
President Bush answered every question directily and with an obvious command of the facts. Questions included both sports questions and foreign policy questions about Georgia and Chinese human rights.
Also, President Bush doesn’t say “uh, uh, uh’ and he didn’t have a teleprompter. Take THAT, Obama!

I am filled with pride for our wonderful President . I watched the evening news tonight and I was flabbergasted at the great coverage they gave him....all positive...lots of film with the athletes and with the Chinese leaders.
