Seems there have been quite a few casino junket bus accidents.

1. Church groups.
2. Casino buses.
For some reason, these two groups account for most “bus plunges”.
Anybody in New Jersey can attest to #2.

Interestingly....Thursday evening...I observed an NHP pull over one of those junket buses from San Jose on a side street in downtown Reno. I was sitting outside eating at a restaurant. No people were inside. As the driver stepped out of the bus...he was miffed. The NHP officer approached the driver and said he had cause to do an inspection. NHP made the driver check the brake lights...one was out. He then started looking in every nook and cranny of that bus...and kept writing things down. The inspection took about 20 minutes. Then the NHP went back to his truck and came back with a long sheet....I assume containing violations. The bus driver was in shock as he was told that he better find another way back to San Jose! NHP told the driver that until the violations were taken care of he better not see that bus on the road!
After reading about these crashes....I am glad to see the NHP taking proactive steps!!! ;)
