Damn straight. Unlike the mountainous people of South Vietnam whom we left out in the cold to the commies, we have learned our lessons.

R of Georgia has the 3rd biggest foreign army in Iraq so we won;t just leave our allies out in the cold. Damn straight, we’ve got American advisers there. Shades of Afghanistan in the 80’s and the new new Cold War has begun.

I’m sure we do, but Russias claim that Ukraine and americans are in south Ossetia driving tanks is just utter propaganda. Not only does Russia not want Georgia joining NATO, but the Ukraine was being considered as well.
Both countries Russia has continously thugged and posted military there. Russia still refuses to remove the majority of its Black Sea Fleet from Ukraine and Russia had setup airbases in northwest Georgia near its border.
This war by Russia is a cordinated move to block both from joining NATO.
