Some of these are quite significant, but did anyone hear most of them??? Does anyone else feel like we are increasingly being wrapped in a News-blackout cocoon where all external news is being hidden from the American people. Fox isn't worth watching any more, but where to turn to???? Tin foil isn't sounding so kooky these days. Why has the news become cartoonish when the world is rocking with real news?

I don’t know why so many are fooled to think FOX is any different than ABCCBSNBC etc...When they aren’t trying to talk over each other they’re spewing mindless drivel.

Fox News makes me physically ill these days. I use to love fox but anymore it is like tuning into a video national enquirer. In the past they focused on the latest scandal or missing person for a brief time but then returned to some solid news. Lately they mention the news in passing as they drone on for hour after hour of missing persons, etc.
I always thought their anchors had more self-respect and pride.
I am truly beginning to loathe fox news simply because they are forcing me to watch cnn just to get some type of news! Grrrrrrr...
Some of them must visit here occasionally. If you are seeing this, tell your management they are losing their loyal viewers!

Why has the news become cartoonish tabloid when the world is rocking with real news? Fixed.
Anyway to answer that question, it's all about viewership and tabloid sells...

Not if it causes your viewers to change the channel.
If you aren’t Elizabeth Edwards, John, Rielle, or his baby, your “care” ratio probably isn’t very high on this story. There is a deliberate dumbing down of America- particularly Conservative audiences that watched Fox from the beginning.

I miss the old Fox. Now they are just media whores. But maybe they have to do that to survive.
For whatever reason, they seldom are in my living room.

Pleeeeease, Blogger. If FNC said, "Yeah, John Edwards finally admitted he's a cheater, but forget that. Here's some REAL news!" they would concede viewers to CNN by the thousands, maybe millions. Roger Ailes isn't a success story because he's stupid.
There isn't anything happening in your thread that won't be there Monday, when most of what there is to say about the Edwards-Hunter affair will have already been said. Grow up.

John Edwards will still be a lying cheating narcissist on Monday too. And Britney Spears breaking a nail will probably supplant all the good stuff by Monday as well.
As for Ailes, didn’t say he is stupid. Evil maybe. Stupid, no.

I havent watched Fox News in 8 months, they have proved to me that they are no different than all the other MSMs out there. Now I let my little girl take over the TV watching the Disney Channel and Noggin.

Network news (Fox included) is for entertainment purposes only. After I’ve caught up on the news (on the Internet, naturally) I might put on the old TV news for “light entertainment” to relax by.

Significant? Really? Which ones? U.S. warns Russia, Russia warns Israel, Iran warns everyone?
Heady stuff to be sure but am I in any way the poorer for not having read a single word about the antics of thuggish leaders and barking mad terrorists? Hardly.
Stop a hundred people on the street and ask them if new EU sanctions against Iran is going to impact their lives in any discernible way in the foreseeable future or whether they're knowing or not about the sanctions matters at all to them. I'd guess they have other more pressing matters to deal with.
