FWIW, Gallup "likely voter" polling (not "registered voter") from 2004.

Obama has trouble breaking 50, Kerry didn't.

In 2004 Gallup used "likely voters" and now in 2008 Gallup uses "registered voters" for their daily polling. If so, why?

To give Obama an artificial boost in polling to include skewing the numbers to have Dems and independents polled more than Republicans?

Gallup didn’t do daily polling in 2004.
