Did you read the article? She was in financial straits.
A forty year old woman who up until now had manged to practice birth control like a pro (though I wouldn't be surprised to find out she had abortions previously), even throughout her marriage.
She deserves all that ridicule that is heaped on her. And then some.
I feel so sorry for her and her children.
"If you drag a hundred dollar bill through a trailer park, you never know what you'll find."
I suspected this from Day One.
Ahh yes, Mr. “Nuts and Sluts.”
Also, of course, she is now a ‘victim’. Of Edwards, the Press, National Enquirer.
Plus the three million dollar house.
Hat trick!
I don't know what 40 something woman you're looking at but I sure wouldn't put her into the top 10%. Maybe because as I get older 40 something woman don't look bad to me at all. At least the ones that look the way a 40 something woman should look. Not the ones that think we men only want to see woman woh have their skin stretched over their forheads, plasctic implants put into their cheeks, boobs and chins and clothes that are made for 18 year old.
I got news for those woman, you look like Michael Jackson impersonators. We'll take a few wrinkles and sags, at least we won't have to worry about breaking something and having to pay for it!
Anyone have Robert Conquest's email?
So, the preferred therapy for a psychotic, middle age woman to just f*ck her. Swell.
Here’s a different view on Elizabeth.
Update: Elizabeth Edwards is already up on Kos with a diary attacking “the present voyeurism.” ... HuffPo’s Lee Stranahan, a former Edwards supporter, responds “Say It Ain’t So, Elizabeth: You Knew But Let Him Run.” Excerpt:
[I]f you’re an Edwards supporter, let me put this bluntly; if you gave John and Elizabeth Edwards time, money, support, or goodwill, they played you.
They made a conscious decision to make their relationship a focus throughout the campaign. That emotional goodwill you feel for them? They not only let you feel, they took actions and made statements specifically so you would feel it.
Then when the rumors first surfaced, they made the worst decision of all; they decided to lie about it and to keep lying about it for months. They lied in a way that made the people who were telling the truth look like the real liars. They lied in a way that turned their supporters into attack dogs. They only started to tell the truth when John Edwards was caught at the Beverly Hills Hilton and even now both John and Elizabeth Edward are callin[g] the people who caught him the liars ...

I’ll bet Reille has the last laugh.
Edwards dumping on her is a big mistake.
‘Hell hath no fury ........’
LOL!!! These people have no shame, the whole talk-show circuit and their wannabes are all the same. Everything is a PR opportunity - say whatever needs to be said in order to extract free advertising from the media, truth be damned. I know it isn't the main topic, but that snippet just caught my eye...I bet he hired a publicist too to try to get him onto Oprah or Dr Phil or some such in order to shill his book "based on his relationship with The Mistress of Vice-Presidential Candidate John Edwards" (in which he spends one paragraph mentioning his own relationship with her - at least until the "revised" edition comes out).
It is a pity people are dumb enough to buy this crap.
Poor John Edwards was seduced by her pick up line..
"Hi, I'm Lisa Druck , I love to f*&k"....
I don’t know what 40 something woman you’re looking at but I sure wouldn’t put her into the top 10%.
That being said, I would date Ms Hunter. I tend to stay away from the “party girl” type.

That is interesting - Elizabeth took part in the scam - maybe there was just too much truth to face.
I remember many people wondering why Elizabeth would even bother with campaigning after the incurable diagnosis instead of being home with her kids.
Someone on another site said that if the Edwards had been honest and not been conducting a hopeless campaign - and then thrown their ill-gotten support to Obama -that maybe Hillary would have won the nomination.
That baby is her social security and part owner in the Edward's fortune.
Are you kidding? Anytime a man has sex with a woman, he'd better be prepared to pay for any children he might produce.
Just desserts.
Oops...that should be: I would NOT date Ms. Hunter.
I'm sure there's a cogent thought/point behind that sentence but I can't point my finger on it.
