David Shuster, arbiter of journalistic standards? The MSM didn't bother to pursue the Edwards story, yet Shuster, he of "pimped out" fame, had the chutzpah to look down his nose not once but twice on the National Enquirer during an interview this afternoon with Barry Levine, its Executive Editor. Levine, speaking with Shuster on MSNBC this afternoon at 4:20 PM EDT, laid out a number of open open issues, including paternity and the source of funding for Rielle Hunter's living arrangements.

Shuster isn’t a journalist. A journalist doesn’t get his story and all of his information from politicians’ “fixers.” That’s called being a spokesman.
It’s so bizarre that the members of the “profession” of journalism seem to think that they should decide what we know. As if only they know what a good story is - how it should be reported, etc. I really don’t care where I get news from if it’s credible - which the Enquirer seems to be a lot of the time. I haven’t seen the Enquirer printing any of the nonsensical “news stories” like the “Are we ready to elect a skinny President” garbage from the NYT.
MSM treated prefentially Edwards as they did Clintoon in ‘92. It took 6 years and repeated outbreaks of the many women in clintoon’s life for MSM to finally wake and smell the damn manure they kept shoveling to the general public. MSM knew about the affair and refuse to print the news. AAArrggg!!!!
The old MSM is dead....from the neck up.
Ever since Fox News canned Shuster for being incompetent, he has been an angry boy.
“I havent seen the Enquirer printing any of the nonsensical news stories like the Are we ready to elect a skinny President garbage from the NYT.”
Yeah. Thats what consider “real” news. I wonder if they will attempt to say the Breck Girl story has`nt been confirmed yet. lol I would`nt put it past them.
I remember reading a study after the OJ trial that by far the Enquirer was the most accurate paper reporting on that.
And I also remember how the Enquirer found the pic of OJ in the shoes that he said he never owned, that the killer of Nicole wore. Those shoes clinched the civil trial.
Well, as I’ve also said on other FR threads about the National Enquirer, if they would just offer a PI course, I’d take it! They’ve gotta have some of the best sleuths around...
