You said it!

The media should be absolutely ashamed. They ignored this and tried to play it off as non-news, when if it were a Republican candidate, they’d be all over it. Wife with cancer? Affair?

I’m sick of the MSM shilling the Democrat Party. I hope they are all embarrassed with themselves and how unprofessional they truly are.

I wouldn’t count on the MSM being embarrassed by their pathetic NON-coverage of this issue. In fact, I fully expect to see the following headlines in the next few days:

EDWARDS ADMITS AFFAIR; GOP NOT READY TO FORGIVE

JOHN EDWARDS: MAN WITH NOBLE FLAW

ELIZABETH EDWARDS STANDS BY HER MAN

and last, but not least—

EDWARDS AFFAIR; BUSH’S FAULT

Not even a landslide win by McCain, and a complete landslide down ticket giving both houses of Congress to the Republicans, will convince the DriveBy Media that they are wrong to so openly shill for the Democrats.

(of course, the Republicans would probably find a way to bugger it up again, but that's beside the point)

Yeah, we were treated to every gorey detail of Newt Gingrich's affair while his wife was terminal with cancer. I'm not suggesting that they should have gone that far in reporting the Edwards/Hunter affair. A simple acknowledgment that it was ongoing would have been sufficient.

And now we'll have all the navel-gazing cable shows to explore if they've been unprofessional, how unprofessional they have truly been, what caused it and what it all means, blah, blah, blah...

“Wife with cancer? Affair?”

Don’t they bring up Newt Gingrinch’s failings every chance they get?

National Enquirer also broke the Rush Limbaugh drug addiction story, and the MSM went apeshit, so no they won’t be ashamed or emabarassed, they’re incapable.

"...I’m sick of the MSM shilling the Democrat Party. I hope they are all embarrassed with themselves and how unprofessional they truly are..."

They wear their bias as a badge of honor, not shame. They are, after all, communists, and the ends justify the means. If they were capable of feeling shame regarding the sham their "profession" has become, they would have changed long ago. The Edwards scandal is just the latest thing they should be ashamed of, but won't be. The shameless are incapable of feeling shame.
