Correct, and similar to the SU-24 in appearance.

This may well be the beginning of a new Russian Empire—an evil empire to be sure. Still, what can we in the US do?

Georgia graced us with such rebels as Joseph Stalin

I don't recall that Uncle Joe was particularly fond of his country of origin.

Over this time 'Christian' Georgia graced us with such rebels as Joseph Stalin.

Keep digging Nacho Dove. Wow you are so incredibly smart... NOT. Let's toss the Georgians because a century ago one of them turned out become Stalin! What ethnicity are you from? Bet we'll find a great lunatic from your people aswell!? Marx was a Jew, Mussolini an Italian, Hitler Austrian and Napoleon from Corsica. Yeah now all these people are EVIL!/sarcasm

Russia invaded and took country over lots of land!

LOL! Yes! And now you want them to grab more land in Georgia!? You are making my point baby!

You my good, are supporting Russia, our enemy, which is financing, arming and supplying our Islamic foes Iran, Syria, Hamas and Hezbullah! They are killing our troops. If you chose to stand with the Neo-Soviet Russians, show us your true colors!

“You are...supporting Russia, our enemy.”

Russia is not our enemy. We are not at war with Russia and have no reason to be.

But then we is US. I don’t know who you claim to represent.

We send aid to Georgia—send help to them and risk a World War? I think not. Russia could do very terrible things to us. Some sneaky, some overt. (sneaky: give a few A-bombs to Hamas)
(Overt: launch attacks on the USA) The risk is too great and Putin knows this. Besides we are distracted with the Olympics and with the elections. Most Americans will not care if Georgia becomes a Russian Puppet State as long as Gas prices go down.

Very funny response!

And my Southern wife would add General Sherman to your list [I am just saying that’s how it is viewed from her side].

Russia is not our enemy. We are not at war with Russia and have no reason to be.

Wake up. Who was backing Saddam, who is arming and politically backing Hamas, Syria and Iran!? RUSSIA. Wake up for goodness sake. (Yes I am screaming and hammering my keyboard.)

“who was backing Saddam?”

How’d that go?

“who is arming and politically backing Hamas, Syria, and Iran!?”

Two more countries and one political party we are not at war with. Thanks for making my point Bro-him!

Chechnya has never been recognized as an independant nation with fixed borders. Georgia has.
