Polygamous sect picks tiny, secluded Colorado town for grandmas’ refuge
Don’t know how long I’ll be around.
Check this thread before the CENSOR gets to it!
Good morning. Elsie....
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Exodus 20:8
And He (Jesus) said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. Mark 2:27, 28

This THREAD has a DEFINITE ‘litmus test’ for what can or canNOT be posted!
Evidently not; for the EVIDENCE of it has been removed from the readers of this thread sensitive eyes.
That’s ok; for it can STILL be found in one of a certain religions History Book...

Where are the certain FReepers who scream
(((((CONSTITUTION)))))))
now ??????
Yes, spam.
One man's spam is another man's breakfast meat for scrambled eggs or luncheon meat for sandwiches! It will be interesting to see if mormon spam on other threads is dealt with.
Not much different in practice from typical Catholicism, or some brands of the Church of Christ.
Heck, even Baptists believe they have a part in saving themselves. Us Presbyterians are a relatively unique lot in our view that God had to save us.
Part of being a real conservative is respecting others' rights to raise their kids as they see fit. If I were Palin, I'd say to you: "I tell you what. I won't tell you how to raise your kids or use the government to tell you how to raise your kids, and you don't tell me how to raise mine."
I've no doubt that over the centuries, quite a lot of excellent leaders with excellent values were raised by nannies and at boarding schools. They didn't have people around to shame them for improper parenting. This child-focused American society we live in now, however, is I think going to lead to many disillusioned adults; and it's no wonder that so many grown kids are moving in with their parents. Not that there's anything wrong with that ... I don't tell people how to raise their kids. Mind your own family your way, let Palin mind hers her way, and assess her merits on more pertinent things -- like how much of an advocate she is or is not for small, limited government.
So...
In a News/Activism thread entitled - Evangelical Leader Warns McCain On VP Pick - any posting of LDS Scripture and/or publications is considered to be SPAM.
Ok...
Ridge is also not terribly flamboyant; but he does speak well and is intelligent. Though he is not my first (or fifth) choice, he would not be a disaster....and he paid his 'dues' by being Homeland Security Czar and instituting that waay cool color coding system. Thankfully, the programs he instituted have kept us in an 'Elmo free' zone .
I’d love to see polling on a McCain/Palin ticket. I sincerely believe she would pull in the disgruntled Hillaryites....she is a strong, pro-life conservative, and has MORE legislative experience than Barry does...
Amen Ed. Great post.
