Unless his Mini Cooper runs on water, he’s a hypocrite. Yes, it gets decent gas mileage but it still uses GAS.
What a creep.

Good Lord! What a moron! Does he have any concept of how this is draining the life blood of our economy, enriching our enemies and giving them oceans of money with which to bribe our public officials?
The sheer arrogant ignorance of some libs is astounding.

If someone knows this bozo, please try to give him an economics lesson. Start with the Balance of Payments chapter, then try discussing the impact of input prices on consumer prices. After that done, shoot him.

He drank the whole purchase of the Kool Aid mix didn’t he.
He must have been horribly bloated when he wrote this.

I live in Hollywood, and once I see this idiot’s pansy-ass Cooper, I’ll try to run it down with my gas-guzzling NRA stickered Jeep. (j/k...not really)

Apparently a rich lib. No brains but cash to pay for $10 a gal gas. DRILL HERE DRILL NOW, HECK MY BACK YARD IS AVAILABLE IF SOMEONE WANTS TO DRILL THERE.

The only smart thing I heard was Obama's advice to fully inflate your tires, though he overlooked the fact that gas stations no longer have free air pumps, or even decent pay ones. I'm surprised he didn't tell us to save gas by not getting lost with the aid of free Amoco maps. The only smart thing (in the excerpt-I haven't read the rest) this idiot adds to the discussion...

“Oil exploration is an industry America should look to expand right after alchemy research and pyramid building.”
IDIOT.
This is the classic NIMBY mindset. No sacrifice, let others do the “dirty work”. When he’s reading by candle light, this fool can thank California’s idiocy regarding this subject on a host of fronts.

Yes, because there is absolutely no strategic or market advantage in increasing and diversifying the global oil supply. I swear, the “fungible” talking point has made the rounds and replaced the thought process. Tell Canada and Venezuela to halt oil operations - no difference is being made in the price for anyone, and they aren’t gaining anything except pollution. Some rich, neurotic, low-testosterone media metrosexual might spot the faint signature of an oil rig on the horizon and need yet another hour of therapy per week.

That is sooooooooo gay.
Now what would Joel be 'cruising' Sunset Blvd for? ;-)
