One Week STRONG!!!!
"I sat there(on the House Floor) side by side with the American People.." Congressman Duncan Hunter (35 minutes into show)...
There has never been a time in our history when this has occurred. The House is adjourned, but a demonstration from the House Memebers is taking place on the House Floor, and the American Folks are sitting in the empty seats, personally telling their stories to their Representatives, and watching speeches from the Floor in person. This is not a "Constituent Day" this is a full week of HISTORY!
Call to action for today folks-
CALL THE "establishment" that claims to be the leader of Free Speech in our country. Ask them to define news. Ask them if they understand what "news" actually is. Ask them if HISTORY is news. This event WILL be inclided in the history books, and it will also note that this was the beginning of the end for the "establishment media."

Who is there changes day by day. I know mine was there last Friday and Monday - saw him on tv (Gohmert). I called his office with kudos. I also mentioned that I liked the bill he proposed to move the Gitmo detainees to the Supreme Court building (just a little tongue-in-cheek). There was a list on earlier threads, but, it changes.
My grandson just called me to say that there were over a 1000 dead.

NO!!! I did not mean to give that impression! I had called him because he has been talking to the Army recruiters, and plans on going into the reserve. He will be a senior this year. He called me back because he had been watching on Fox.

Oh, and giving up? They gave up on me. I’m no longer in the miliary for the convenience of a nation of ingrates. I’m not defending them when they embrace the enemy. I am in it for defending and providing for my family, and THAT’S ALL. You, them, it’s not worth getting worked up over any longer.
So that’s all this is: performance art and street theater. Your lives will not deviate from the path already chosen for you. If you’re a Bible-thumper, you can explain it away by calling it god’s will.

Feeling pressure from the House Republican revolt on energy prices, Speaker Nancy Pelosi took time from her busy book tour — current Amazon sales rank No. 1,631, and priced to sell at $16.29, down from the original $23.95 — to release a “Top Ten Questions for the House GOP on Energy.”
The first thing one notices about these “10 questions is that there are only nine of them. But leaving math aside, and ignoring two political questions addressed to John McCain and past Congresses, here are policy answers to the remaining 7 questions:
1. House Democrats have put forward 13 major proposals that would increase supply, reduce prices, protect consumers and transition America to a clean, renewable energy-independent future. … How can Republicans claim to want to help consumers and businesses when they oppose these policies?
Of the 13 proposals Pelosi cites, only three could possibly claim to increase energy supply.
Two of them involve either tax incentives or increased government investment in renewable energy. We’ll address renewable energy mandates below (see question No. 9).
Pelosi also cites her efforts to require “oil companies to drill on 68 million acres they already control.” This is the silliest claim of all. Oil companies can only drill where oil is. There are 9.4 billion acres on the moon. Pelosi could require oil companies to drill there, but it wouldn’t produce one drop of oil.
