BROWNSVILLE, TexasThe Air National Guard at Ellington Field stands ready to protect our borders both on land and at sea.
Part of that duty includes providing free medical care to everyone.
That is evident at a school in Brownsville where soldiers along with our states health and human services department help those in need.
Were protecting our people and thats our job, said Master Sgt. Marcus Falleaf who is with the Air National Guard.
But does that job include protecting foreigners at the expense of American taxpayers?
Thats what some want to know.
Some claim that more than 5,000 people have received medical care at the Brownsville facility in three days.
The military doesnt know how many people are getting served because they dont require documentation and don't ask questions.
One woman who spoke to 11 News said she lives in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. It's a city across the border form Brownsville.

Some people seem to get free socialized medicine just because of where they live.
Not really surprised. I’m waiting patiently for secession which’ll solve all of these problems.
I wonder if Drs in the small towns let the cat out of the bag. 5,000 in 3 days their offices must have been thin.
I thought the days of our military being used as a “Meals On Wheels” organzation ended when Bubba left office. Guess not. Thanks Dubya.
Doing everything thats not constitutional, like protecting our sovereignty
"Her job, originally, was to deliver 2,000 Marines and their gear to war. Now, instead of hauling grunts and Harrier jump jets and Cobra attack choppers, the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge is loaded with 550 humanitarian workers including Navy and Air Force construction workers; military doctors and dentists from the U.S., The Netherlands and Brazil; civilian plastic surgeons; and even a couple of historians. Kearsarge left Norfolk, Virginia, onThursdayWednesday for a four-month Central and South American cruise, calling at six countries, including Nicaragua, to deliver free medical care and economic assistance. I’m in that National Guard and I don’t get free health care. Why is it the illegals are getting it?
That's great..use uninsured American citizens for that exercise.
If people show up, illegally, with severe health problems, I can understand nobody turning them away. I even understand taking a sick child or parent for help illegally. But that should be the exception, not the norm.
The wall needs to be built. I think it is being built. RINO Rick is good in some areas..just not this one.

I know. I have 11 keywords I check every morning as well as what I add to the list during the day when possible. Then, there are those threads initiated without keywords that somebody adds later, and I pick up days late. But it's Summer, and likely a time for more illegal activity than in Winter (but who knows?). I'm guessing that's accounting for some of the increased number of threads.
