New Jersey is a lost cause. The Democrats don't have an energy policy, so they go back to attack Big Oil. This country is full of brain dead idiots who just swallow whatever rotgut is fed them.

Exactly, because if normal thinking people would think it through, the more drilling that takes place, the more oil will be put into the market. With supply up, the price per barrel would go down, lowering Big Oil profits. Hence, a vote to drill is a vote for LOWERING Big Oil Profits!!! By San Fran Nan blocking an up or down vote, she is protecting Big Oil Profits. She must be the one in the pocket of Big Oil.

Gov. Corzine was on Fox & Friends this morning. He, too, opposes any off-shore drilling. Congressman Frank Pallone was on Your World With Neil Cavuto yesterday. I didn’t catch the entire segment, but he too is against any off-shore drilling. It was humorous too, in that Pallone referred to Cavuto as Nick. IIRC, both used the standard talking points of oil companies and their 68 million acre leases and we must protect the Jersey Shore. What bothered me most about both men is that they decide what will be done with nothing said about input from the residents of the state.

I grew up in NJ and spent many summer weeks at the Shore as a kid. I don’t want any environmental damage either, but I think it’s a policy worth pursuing.

Of course, neither politician talks about how people are going to heat their houses this winter.
