On the news this morning they were saying that the White House is frantically trying to get Joey Cheek let back into China.

I am the fifth one on the right in the woodland cammies. It was a nice little visit. I was within a foot or two of President Bush when came on the stage.

The Miami Herald sent Dave Barry to China to cover the Olympics. He's put up some short, but funny blog posts
from China.
But I thought this was most interesting...
And here's an interesting fact: I can't see this blog in China. I can post to it, but I can't see it. I was told that all TypePad blogs are blocked over here. This bothers some people, but I for one welcome my new Chinese overlords.

This bothers some people, but I for one welcome my new Chinese overlords. LOL--that's both funny and disturbing. And the White House press corp apparently wasn't allowed off the plane in China. I thought the commies would welcome their own ;)

Thank you for your service, Hoosiersailor!

I thought the commies would welcome their own ;)LOL!! You would think so.
I've been collecting photos for the Olympic live thread and, even eliminating the silly ones, I've got way too many! Check this one out...this guy really likes pandas.

LOL!! He’ll be stuck with that for a while. Even if he wears a hat, we’ll still see the little panda legs sticking out :)

There was a whole section of Olympic hair-don'ts. Do they have Child Protective Services in China? Because someone should really call on the parents of these kids.

I do wish that Laura would wear dresses at these events. Every time I see her in a pant suit at some important event, I think of hillary.
