Bush’s fellow Mexiphiles framed them so it is unlikely he will pardon them.
Sometimes W values loyalty more than justice and this may be one of those times.

So Davilla’s term is shorter than Ramos and Compean ... hmmm. Does that seem right?

So what ever happened to Terry Reed anyway? Dead?
To: AuntB
Sorry folks, Ramos and Compean are going to have to sit and rot, because el Presidente Jorge Booosh values his relationship with his "dear friend" Johnny 'Corrupt Prosecutor' Sutton more than seeing justice done.
Hey, the train is leaving the station, so stop expecting this Administration to do the right thing, ok?

Where is the outrage with Mexicans in America who
see two Americans of Mexican heritage unjustly locked up for doing their job.
Guess this doesn’t fit their agenda

The entire prosecution of these border agents has been a travesty of justice from beginning to end. Sutton and the presiding judge should be investigated for rigging the trial. I just want to know since when exculpatory evidence that would exonerate a defendant is not admissible in an American court of law?

Hunter can’t really expect that Bush...who just tried to postpone the execution of a Mexican who gang raped and murdered two young American girls.... to give two hoots about American citizens wrongly incarcerated.

Exactly why I’m still writing Duncan Hunter in on my ballot. My conscience won’t allow me to vote for someone even worse on the issue.

More PR grandstanding from Hunter. He could have had those agents out of prison by now but prefers doing things that have no chance of success...because...he gets a lot of mileage out of them being in prison.
Yes, Hunter introduced HR 563 demanding a pardon which of course means nothing (except good PR) because Congress can't DEMAND a pardon from the President.
My question is why didn't he use that same time and energy submitting a bill that exempts law enforcement officers from the 10 year mandatory when they make mistakes of judgment in the line of duty? Not only would that have freed Ramos and Compean but it would have protected ALL LEO’s in the future. Instead all we get are press releases, photo ops and rhetoric. Ramos and Compean are still in prison and LEO’s are still at risk from this poorly written legislation.
Do something that counts and is effective, Rep. Hunter. Then you'll win back my respect.
