Dowd is wrong. Believe me, Obama found a way to get across that he was black. Maybe he didn’t check the box (which I find highly improbable), but on the off chance he didn’t you can bet the line, “The son of a Kenyan goat herder...” was probably coined in the essay section of that very application (or picked up from the Columbia and Occidental application essays). Obama sues for EVERY advantage.
