Hillary supporters not giving up
By Sara Burnett, Rocky Mountain News

Hillary Clinton supporters will march through Denver during the Democratic National Convention to show appreciation for the New York senator's historic primary run and urge the party to place her name in nomination.

The city issued a permit Tuesday to Colorado Women Count/Women Vote for a parade on Aug. 26 — the 88th anniversary of women's suffrage and the date Clinton is rumored to be speaking at the DNC.

The group also will team with 18 Million Voices, a national organization of Clinton supporters, for a rally in a yet-to-be-determined Denver park.

"We just want to celebrate Hillary's accomplishments and what she's done for the country as a whole and women in particular," said Katherine Vincent, 55, of Louisville, who is organizing the parade and rally.

Vincent is among those passionate followers who believe Clinton's delegates have a right to vote for her at the convention.

"That's why they were selected," she said. "We think it would actually bring the party together."

Nationwide, Clinton's staunchest supporters refer to themselves as "PUMAs," short for "Party Unity My A--."

Clinton is scheduled to speak at an Emily's List gala at the Sheraton Denver Hotel at 2 p.m. on Aug. 26. She will join Michelle Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at the event, a celebration of women's suffrage.

“Hillary is going to make her move at the convention.”

Agreed.

It appears to me as though she is ramping up an attempt to cause movement similar to a draft. One of those typical Clinton Political moves designed to cause the appearance of a larger than reality movement of demand for the enlightened, experienced leadership that only a Clinton can provide. The usual Clinton BS IOW.

I can see her at the Convention now....”The People Are Demanding Experienced Leadership”..blah blah blah.

You have to hand it to the Clinton Machine when it comes to sleight-of-hand.

Now that there is a legitimate movement to fully seat/cote all MI/FLA delegates, a roll call could end up being either pretty funny or disastrous - it’s sure to further divide them, either way...I LOVE IT when the ‘Rats do stuff like this!

“To show appreciation for...” what?

Their candidate was bought out of the race. No honor there. If it were my candidate I would get rid of every sign and hope everyone forgot that I ever said her name. Of course we don't call them Dumbocrats for nothing.

Wasn’t Barry calling for a FULL delegate count including Florida and Michigan?

I'm probably reaching here, but I've seen a number of pieces in the MSM about how bland and scripted conventions have become. In the old days, you could have floor fights, or a true dark horse candidate could come from nowhere and get the top spot. The media laments the fact that this sort of thing doesn't happen anymore.

Now, I think the media is solidly in the tank for Obama, but Hillary's people are smart enough to see these articles and develop a strategy to tap into those feelings and perhaps build a Magic TV Moment.

If Hillary takes the nomination away this year, she’ll tear the party up. She should do just enough to make Obama lose in November so she at least has the opportunity to run against McCain in 2012. She cannot keep up-and-comers in the party down for 8 years.

Barry-o, I need you
Sunday dress, ruby ring
Barry-o, I need you so
Could you help me in?

Purple hum, assorted cards
Razor lights youll bring
And all to prove youre on the move
And vanishing

Barry-o, I need you so
Barry-o, I need you so

Edge of night, distract yourself
Obstacles dont work
Homogenize
Decentralize
Its just a quirk

Different ways to see you through
All the same in the end
Peculiar star, a-thats who you are
Do you have to win?

Barry-o, I need you so
Barry-o, I need you so

Barry-o, I need you so
(barry-o)
Barry-o, I need you so
(barry-o)

Can anyone please tell me just what it is Mrs. Clinton has accomplished?
Her husband was president. She a do nothing senator carpetbagger. She ruined her health care initiative and has few if any serious legislative accomplishments.
She did spend 225 million dollars to lose the dem. nomination though.
Worthless whore.

My suspicion is that Hillary will be too old (and too old news) to be viable in 2012. She isn't aging well, and she will be less appealing in 4 years.

It really comes down to this: If Hillary thinks this is her last chance, will she be selfish and go all-in? Will she risk tearing the party apart? Or will she put her own desires aside and do what's right for the party?

Hint: She's a Clinton. She will have no difficulty deciding which path to take.

"We just want to celebrate Hillary's accomplishments and what she's done for the country as a whole and women in particular,"

These people really are delusional! I mean it. They are really sick. And what is scary is there are so many in the nation. The woman has done nothing "for the country". And compared to the harm she and her husband have done the net, on a mathematical scale, is minus 10 to the 1,000,000,000 power.

Our Republic is so screwed!

Seems we’ve brought it upon ourselves.
Just look at the liars and thieves perverts and pieces of excrement we’ve elected to the House and Senate.
Look at the caliber of likely nominees put forth by the two major parties, a pair no one would care for.
There are barely a handful of politicians who you’d trust with your underage daughter or with the key to your home.
And as for the Supremes, I’d like to see one or two get the beat down they deserve.

I thought there was a full delegate count. Obama got delegates based not based on the actual vote and Hillary got robbed. The Florida and Michigan ones only got half a vote though. I think what is going on here is Obama wants them to count as full votes.

Exactly, she is going to be older and less viable in in 4 years. And if Obama wins, she will be way to old in 8. And then there is always her husbands health and mental state. You never know how he will be like in 4 to 8 years from now.
