Kill him anyway. SCOTUS decisions aren’t enforced anyway. Just ask the residents of DC after SCOTUS told them they had a right to keep and bear arms...... DC said screw it and just passed a new law as bad as the last.

I didn’t read the courts reasons but if they are not for soverign reasons then Texas was just full of hot air if they don’t execute.

US top court refuses to halt Mexican's execution WASHINGTON (AFP) - The US Supreme Court has rejected a last-ditch appeal by a Mexican muderer on Texas death row, paving the way for him to be put to death despite a world court order for a stay of execution.
"The application for stay of execution of sentence of death ... is denied," the Supreme Court ruled.
