Al Gore has a new boat and even it is green.

The boat is docked at Hurricane Marina on Center Hill Lake in Smithville, about 70 miles east of Nashville.

While it doesn't have solar panels yet, a spokesperson at Gore's office told News 2 they are scheduled to be installed Wednesday.

The boat is named Bio-Solar One and has been called the "Toyota Prius of boats"...

Dang!!!

I’ve stayed in boats like this (never owned one).

Talk about methane gas, when a lot of people use the toilets, the smell will run you out of it (from the overflow, which flows in the lake at some point). That is, unless you have some special status, and your septic tank gets pumped out several times a day.

Of course, you’d have to be a VSP, a “star” to get this kind of treatment.

I feel sorry for the Secret Service personnel that have to travel with Gore. Maybe they get a few hours off to throw a popping bug at the numerous bluegill that hang around docks. I wouldn’t eat them, though. But they are fun to catch, and release.

BTW billhilly, the boat is not on the lake I thought. But, it is on your way home. Perhaps we should meet in middle TN, and hang out with some good people over there.

I’ll freepmail you about this later.

I notice that the article doesn’t mention the type of boat that it is or who makes it. Can’t fact check something without the facts. . .

Only needs fueled once a year?

HELLLLOOO... it’s a lake boat in freaking Tennessee. How far can it possibly go? It’s not like he’s gonna drive it to Havana or something. He’s probably on it what... a few weekends out of the summer? And then, how many times does he even bother to leave the dock?

The Queen Mary is very fuel-efficient too. Lately.

“Only needs filled up once a year”

If I only drive my car 300 miles a year, I would only have to fill it up once. Liberal logic.

Just like when Al Gore flies all over the world adding to Global Warming because his mere presence in far off lands will reduce Global Warming. Self importance is the crux of liberalism. They are better than everyone else, therefore their beliefs mean more than everyone else's.

Using the Nuclear power to make his bio-boat go, algore could offset the 10% increase after GREEN in his home, I use the Internet he invented, I have found that nukes are safe and make power, and we have lots of oil here

If you are tired of paying high prices for fuel, These 2 people as "leaders" of congress, Are blocking the vote from coming to the floor. We need to send Mail, good old snail mail, mountains of it, so when they return in September the voice of the people will be heard.
Please send this to all in your email list.

Looks like the Staten Island ferry. Anyone who thinks this enormous thing is saving the environment is a fool.

His boat is “green”?

Honestly, if it really is, it would be the only thing in his life that is. The guy is such a hypocrite when it comes to environmentalism it’s a joke. Hell, he even owns the company he buys his “carbon credits” from.

The energy signature of this ship includes the salary’s of the people who built it. And all the people they bought from - - and all the people who made the plastics. And the people they supported - and the people they bought from...

And the folks who cut the lumber for decks and mined the steel used in the engines and the people who made commissions and all the families they supported. It just goes on and on. On and on and on until you come right up to Al Gore - the biggest consumer of all..

Someone please ask Al how much of a carbon footprint it took to MANUFACTURE this fraud of a “green” boat.

Count all the mining, smelting, manufacturing, shipping, assembly, and be sure to count the carbon footprint of everyone who assisted in that process.

I have one of those paddle boats on my pond in the back yard. Talk about a workout! If you peddle as fast as you can ... once around the pond will wear you out.

Yep, he only has to fill up this monstrosity once a year, so he's green!

The sad thing is that at least half the country will applaud him for this.
