What we found: 122 photos of Obama have been published in the paper during that time to 78 for McCain, counting tiny to big. Most of those photos ran inside the paper; most on the politics page.

might be why the washington post’s circulation declines quarter after quarter, year after year.
if so, I say keep it up.
but likely the reason for the post’s decline lies elsewhere. people get their news elsewhere.
Thanks for the post and the ping. I’m surprised that anyone at the Compost would notice the disparity. Now lets see if they try to be fair, or (as I expect) decide the disparity hasn’t been large enough.
I agree that's part of it, but the slanted coverage is really hurting them as evidenced by Howell's statement:
But these kinds of discrepancies feed distrust on the part of readers, especially conservative ones, who already complain that The Post is all for Obama.
