Obama: GOP Detractors ‘Take Pride in Being Ignorant’
FNC ^

Barack Obama, responding to a week of taunts from John McCain’s campaign, said Tuesday that his Republican detractors “take pride in being ignorant” and that it’s time to get serious.

The Illinois senator was responding in part to criticism from Republicans who mocked him for suggesting last week that Americans could save on energy costs and gas by properly inflating their tires. McCain surrogates passed out tire gauges that say “Obama’s Energy Plan,” and McCain said last week the “only thing” Obama has proposed with regard to energy is to inflate tires.

“This is the kind of thing they do. I don’t understand it,” Obama said at a town hall meeting in Berea, Ohio, Tuesday. “Two points: One, they know they are lying about what my energy plan is, but the other thing is they are making fun of a step that every expert says would absolutely reduce our oil consumption by 3 to 4 percent.

“It’s like these guys take pride in being ignorant,” he said.

Yes, He Can! And he can name all fifty-seven states and their capitals.

Obama really ought to move back to Kenya, there’s nothing here that he likes or approves off and he has done jackpoop nothing up until now in his twisted, demented life of zero accomplishments.

Oh it will improve our GAS MILEAGE 3 to 4 % per car.

Assuming that the entire population of the country is driving around on under inflated tires

they are making fun of a step that every expert says would absolutely reduce our oil consumption by 3 to 4 percent.

What percentage of people do not keep their tires properly inflated? I would contend that everyone who cares, already keeps their tires inflated, and no matter what Obama does, there will still be about the same amount of careless people who don't pay close attention to it.

How to win friends and influence people?

Not.

a step that every expert says would absolutely reduce our oil consumption by 3 to 4 percent.

That is only assuming that most people consistently run their cars with dramatically under inflated tires. I check my tires frequently, along with everything else that could improve my car's performance.

Despite everything, I still want lower gas prices.

For a supposedly US citizen running for President that doesnt know the Pledge of Allegiance and thinks there are 58 states I see where he came up with the audacity of hope but it should have been the Audacity of A Dope.

Nice design. That race card will be government issued if this first half black president is elected.

No one takes more pride in their ignorance than B Hussein Obama.

“It’s like these guys take pride in being ignorant,...”

That’s it, dildo. There was one single vote for you in my clan of 23. Now I am going to work harder to make that zip, ziltch, nada.

I am going to plead for my errant youngest daughter — currently an MIT graduate student — one more time to reconsider her vote. If she persists in this stupidity of voting for a non-scholar like you, I will most definitely delete her name from my last will and testament.

If Bronco Bomber can say "This is the kind of thing they do"

Does that make it OK to use the term "you people" when I'm talking to the opposition?
