Isn't it so much more fun to spring the photos on the public after plenty of outraged cries that the accusations are "unproven" and "baseless," and cops have been covering for the politician in question?
They had him dead to rights, stone cold busted. How many kazillion times has the Enquirer been sued for libel, do you reckon? How many times have they lost?
Any sensible person should trust them more than they trust the New York Times.

One of the photographers say a security guard threatened to break his camera if he took pictures.
So the puss photographer didn’t take any pictures because of the threats from some security guard?? Sounds like a couple of royal screw ups covering the Edwards story turned it into a fiasco. And the name left out of a police report?? Sounds like some very substantial amounts of money were thrown around on this night.
When Ann Coulter made a joke about Edwards, MSM went ballistics, and she was blasted day after day. When John Edwards, a potential VP candidate, commits adultery and hurts and humiliates his family the MSM works hard to cover up for him.
Now even the police are involved in the coverup.
