Fortunately, even with the lights, mics, and cameras turned off and the water removed (nice touch 9% Nan), they CANNOT shut us down.

According to everyone I spoke with today, staffers and members alike, C-SPAN is VERY ticked off at Nancy Pelosi. C-SPAN has been trying to get the Republicans to somehow pressure Pelosi to turn the cameras back on because she is stonewalling them.
What's involved with turning the cameras back on? I suppose the controls are locked up in a communications closet. I'd love to see someone go in and just turn the damn things on. And then tell Pelosi to go screw herself.
Even better, my daughter keeps wishing the Patriot Guard would go to DC and a biker chick sit in “Nancys seat”. Wicked, WICKED girl I have! LOL

There is a code/keypad lock on the camera feed. IIRC, when the revolt began, the cameras came back up shortly after then went down because (I think it was) Rep. Shadegg just at random hit the correct sequence of keys for the camera feed to go back live.
The Speaker of the House controls the camera access to the chamber, and MADAME does not want the "great unwashed" to have news of the revolution. No one else can turn the feed back on legally (and the Dem Speaker has the code/control physically). MADAME Pelosi wants $5 a gallon gas as a means of enviro-nazi social engineering. Folks won't be able to afford gas therefore consumption (in her mind pollution) goes down. Typical limousine liberal's "Let them eat cake" attitude.
