Where was John Edwards around the time his alleged "love child" Frances Quinn Hunter was conceived?
The senator was in New York – receiving his Father of the Year Award.
Edwards accepted his June 27, 2007, honor from the Father's Day/Mother's Day Council almost nine months before the child was born Feb. 27, 2008, according to a birth certificate obtained by the Charlotte Observer.
Before beginning his Father of the Year acceptance speech, Edwards told an adoring crowd, "I hate to admit it, but I am not the best parent in my family."
The John Edwards campaign website lists his Father of the Year Award among the senator's accomplishments.
He then continued with a story about his fatherhood experience.
"It is true, your children learn not only from what you say, but from what you do," he said. "Whenever they do anything that you're proud of in your life, you'll be able to look back on the things that you taught them both through your words and through your deeds."
The council's website says it presents its Father of the Year Award to "fathers who have attained success in their chosen fields, and have found the time to be role models in raising their children ... ."
Frances Hunter's birth certificate does not identify a father. She was born to Rielle Hunter, a videographer who was working on Edwards' presidential campaign when he received the award.
When the Observer asked why a father was not named, Hunter's attorney, Robert Gordon, said, "A lot of women do that."

What a pathetic man. Men who cheat on their wives and the tramps that they do it with deserve each other. But it just seems worse and creepy that he would do that when his wife is ill. What a jerk.

I hope his wife acts with appropriate feminine rage and kicks his sorry buttocks all the way to Los Angeles - and OUT of their mansion home complex in Chapel Hill....though that’s not likely to happen....since the mistress now lives in that exclusive apartment complex...in Chapel Hill.
Understand people’s negative opinion politically of Mrs. Edwards.
But being wronged by a “husband” and “father of your children” propels many women beyond their philosophical outlooks - to RAGE. Go for it all, Elizabeth!
